My husband and I transferred to Jacksonville, Florida thirty years ago and I know firsthand the challenges facing families as they relocate to a new city. I try very hard to go the extra mile with my customers and many of them have become my friends. I have lived on the Southside for 30 years and am very knowledgeable about homes and condos in that area.

Incorporated in 1913 as the city of South Jacksonville, it was only a separate city for less th an 20 years, as it was annexed into the city of Jacksonville in 1932. Today, the "Southside" is an active, dynamic part of the city. It boasts several upscale commercial areas like the Avenues Mall, Tinseltown, and the St Johns Town Center. It is home to many private golf and country clubs, most notably Glen Kernan, and the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
The all new 9A expressway and Gate corridor has spawned many new residential communities in this fast growing part of town. Modern condominium, townhouse, and apartment communities have attracted many young professionals to this area.
The Southside also has many great assets to it's credit, it is home to the University of North Florida which has an enrollment of over 15,000 and was recently rated the Southeast's best value in education. The Southside also has the most extensive park system in the United States, with playgrounds, ball fields and courts, jogging and walking paths, and places to picnic and play.
The Southside has the lifestyle you want to live, modern residential communities with all ammenities, wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment at your finger tips, the schools and recreation areas you want to raise your children.
